If you look really closely at the Google Maps of the Outer Banks, NC (OBX FOREVER!) then you might see us splashing in the waves.

The kids and I are heading to sunny North Carolina to play with my family where we will get sandy, wet, alternately bake in the sun and freeze when we come out of the water, and eat fantastic food prepared by my almost-chef sister. I'll be attempting to get Shay to put his face under the water in our pool. We'll have Wii Sports Resort tournaments. There are rumors of 1000 piece puzzles and surfing lessons.

Try not to be too jealous of our sunny days and 70 degree weather.

We have to take a 7 hour flight first. And that's most parents definition of purgatory.

For the first time since I got pregnant with Pumpkin, I can fit into my size 8 jeans. I know, size doesn't matter, just be healthy, blah blah blah. And I don't consider myself a shallow person...

but it still feels pretty good to be in these jeans again.
